SCJP:
The Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) exam is the entry level Java exam and is a prerequisite to a number of the other Java-related certifications. SCJP 6, designated CX-310-065 by Sun, was released in December 2007.
It is designed as a fairly detailed test of basic knowledge of the essentials of the Java programming language. It tests looping constructs and variables, and does not cover specific technologies such as GUI creation, Web or network programming. The exam tests how well a programmer has understood the language constructs and not the programmer's capability to write efficient algorithms.
It is assessed through an automatically administered multiple-choice test system and consists of 60 questions which the candidate has 180 minutes to answer. At least 35 questions are needed to be correct to pass (around 58%). The exam is taken at a Prometric test center, and to take the test a candidate must buy a voucher from Sun (approximately US$300 in the US, but £150 (excluding VAT) in the UK, AUD 316 plus Tax in Australia, Rs. 7200 plus taxes in India) and book the test at least a week in advance. The test consists of multiple choice and drag-and-drop questions, the latter comprising 20-25% of the questions.
The SCJP 6 exam tests a candidate on knowledge of declarations, access control, object orientation, assignments, operators, flow control, assertions, string handling, I/O, parsing, formatting, generics, collections, inner classes, threads and the JDK tools

LINUX ADMINISTRATION (RHCE)
Overview
This guide provides information candidates may use in preparing to take the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exam on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. Candidates taking the exam on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 should consult the past RHCE Exam objectives linked above. Red Hat is not responsible for the content or accuracy of other guides, books, online resources, or any other information provided by organizations or individuals other than Red Hat Training and Certification. Red Hat reserves the right to change this guide when appropriate. Candidates who have enrolled in forthcoming classes or exams are advised to check this guide periodically for changes.
Prospective employers of RHCEs should verify any and all claims by people claiming to hold this certification by requesting their certificate number and verifying it here.
In order to earn RHCE, one must also pass the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) exam. Someone can enroll in and take the RHCE exam without first having passed the RHCSA exam, but RHCE certification will not be issued until both credentials are earned by a candidate. In the event that a candidate has not yet earned RHCSA, Red Hat will retain the candidate's RHCE exam record and will attach that record to a candidates' RHCSA record once it is earned at a later date.
Performance-based Exams
The RHCE exam is a performance-based evaluation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration skills and knowledge. Candidates perform a number of routine system administration tasks and are evaluated on whether they have met specific objective criteria. Performance-based testing means that candidates must perform tasks similar to what they must perform on the job.
Scores and Reporting
Official scores for the RHCE exams come exclusively from Red Hat Certification Central. Red Hat does not authorize examiners, training partners or other departments or individuals within Red Hat to report results to candidates. Scores on the exam are reported within three (3) US business days.
Red Hat does not report performance on individual items, nor will it provide additional information upon request. This policy helps ensure impartiality and fairness for all candidates worldwide. Scores are used to establish whether certification should be issued and are reported for the benefit of candidates. Red Hat makes no representations regarding the use of scores for any other purpose, such as ranking or comparing candidates.
Format of the RHCE Exam
The RHCE exam is a hands-on, practical exam that lasts 2.0 hours. Internet access is not provided during the exam. Outside materials are not permitted. Documentation that ships with Red Hat Enterprise Linux is available during the exam. Red Hat reserves the right to make changes to format, including timing and the policies above. Such changes will be made public in advance through revisions to this document.
Preparation for the RHCE Exam
Red Hat encourages all candidates for RHCE to consider taking one or more of its official training courses to help prepare. Attendance in these classes is not required, and one can choose to take just an exam. Many successful candidates who have come to class already possessing substantial skills and knowledge report that the class made a positive difference for them.
To help you determine the best courses to take, Red Hat provides online skills assessment.
While attending Red Hat's classes can be an important part of one's preparation, attending class does not guarantee success on the exam. Previous experience, practice, and native aptitude are also important determinants of success.
Many books and other resources on system administration for Red Hat's products are available. Red Hat does not endorse any as preparation guides for any exams. Nevertheless, candidates may find additional reading deepens understanding and can prove helpful.
Exam Objectives
RHCE exam candidates should consult the RHCSA Exam Objectives document and be capable of RHCSA-level tasks, as some of these skills may be required in order to meet RHCE exam objectives. Red Hat reserves the right to add, modify and remove objectives. Such changes will be made public in advance through revisions to this document.
RHCE exam candidates should be able to accomplish the following without assistance. These have been grouped into several categories.
System Configuration and Management
Route IP traffic and create static routes
Use iptables to implement packet filtering and configure network address translation (NAT)
Use /proc/sys and sysctl to modify and set kernel run-time parameters

CCNA Certification
Introduction:
The CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) certification is the first in Cisco´s line of certifications that an aspiring networking professional must acquire in order to add value to his IT career. The CCNAcertification validates a firm foundation of networking skills that include fundamentals like the OSI reference model, networking protocols, Layer 2 switching concepts and protocols, routing concepts and protocols, and wide-area networking (WAN) connectivity.. Thus a person aiming to qualify for the CCNA certification should be proficient in abilities to provide basic network installations and troubleshooting.
CCNA Training Details:
Skills and knowledge gained through training for the CCNA certification are immensely valuable in the networking field as the topics covered during the CCNA training program provide the basis for all networking topologies and protocols.

Over the last many years Zoom Technologies has successfully trained several hundreds of networking professionals who have qualified in the CISCO CCNA certification exam.

The CCNA training covers all aspects of the 640-802 curriculum in detail. The course also provides practical hands-on training on Cisco Routers and Cisco Switches, as no WAN setup is complete without Leased line / Wireless / VSAT / DSL etc. Telecom devices like CSU/DSU, Telco MUX, are also covered in the Practical setup. The training for CCNA Certification is provided by Senior Network/WAN engineers who have several years of field experience.

The CCNA training program at Zoom Technologies is priced at

INR 3,500*/ USD 76*/ GBP 51*/ NGN 11,524*

*All prices subject to a 10.3% Service Tax Charge.Rates are quoted in U.S. dollars,Britain Pounds and Nigerian Nairas are subject to change according to Foreign Exchange rates.

Students preparing for the CCNA certification have a choice of writing the CCNA exam as a single paper or as two papers together. The details of paper codes and their descriptions are mentioned in the table below.

CCNA Exams
PATH 1 – Single Paper

Paper 1
640-802 CCNA
